As Head of Construction*in the new building, you take responsibility for challenging major urban projects – from construction preparation to implementation to successful project completion. You represent the city as a builder, coordinate different interests and, together with internal and external partners, ensure that important transport and infrastructure projects are successfully implemented. Large-scale projects and take responsibility: You take over the project management for the construction preparation, execution and project completion of major urban projects. Persuasively represent and communicate projects: you represent your construction projects both within the city administration and across the public. You have completed engineering studies (Diplom TU, Diplom FH, Bachelor or Master) in engineering, construction management and construction, infrastructure management, or a comparable field of expertise. You own the class B license. Ideally, you will bring professional experience in the construction of transport facilities as well as in the local construction management, project management, project management or construction management. You ideally have knowledge in the construction of transport systems and in planning and procurement law. The relevant technical regulations, such as HOAI and VOB, as well as additional technical regulations for road construction, such as the ZTV Asphalt, are familiar to you.
