Lead Safety Engineer (LSE) (m/f/d)

As a lead safety engineer, you are responsible for the product safety of our systems and contributes significantly to compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Your tasks include: Responsibility & Consulting: Implementation of safety standards and consulting of management, engineering management and project teams in the field of product safety. Competence Management & Training: Active support of specialist departments and project teams in the application of standards and standards for product safety. Planning and partial implementation of safety engineers training. Conception & Release: Creation of technical concepts for admission processes. Interface function for commissioning and manufacturing during product release. Reporting & Documentation: Release of Safety Assessment Reports (SAR) as proof of product safety. Assessment and documentation of deviations in the SAR. Interface Management: Contact for acceptance institutions (ZTQ, DNV, TÜV, etc.) and cooperation with organisations and bodies in the field of standards development. Security officer: Support of the commissioner System Security for safety-critical issues and product monitoring. Conformity: signing CE declarations of conformity on behalf of the Executive Board after official appointment.

Complete studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, shipbuilding or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in product safety, ideally in the maritime industry or a related area. Knowledge of relevant standards and standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 13849). Experience in the implementation of risk assessments and the creation of safety concepts. Embossed communication and team skills as well as an independent and structured way of working. Persuasiveness to internal and external stakeholders. Local regional and national missions. German knowledge, English knowledge of advantage.
