Operational Continuity Management Officer (m/f/d)

The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is the largest hospital in the Middle Rhine region. It is shown in the hospital plan of the state of Baden-Württemberg as a house of maximum care for the region and the teaching hospital of the University of Freiburg. The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe (SKK) is a critical infrastructure and is subject to high legal requirements for ensuring patient care and the ability to act in the event of a crisis. The Operational Continuity Management function is based on the management of the Infrastructure division in the Central Services division and has a direct line of reporting to the management. Operational continuity management supports management in the clinical development and coordination of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in close cooperation with the technical, administrative and clinical areas of the SKK. We are looking for a / an agent (m/w/d) full-time continuity management at the next possible time.

Together with the participating departments, you will coordinate and develop the Business Continuity Management System as an integrated management system in coordination with the other management officers at the Klinikum Karlsruhe You plan and conduct internal and external audits and reviews in the BCM environment You support the departments and management in matters relating to operational continuity and organisational resilience, report at regular intervals of management and develop appropriate indicators for measuring the effectiveness of the management system You carry out risk analyses and business impact analyses and support the development, updating and coordination of emergency operations, restart and recovery plans together with the departments You coordinate regular exercises and tests to verify the effectiveness of emergency and restart plans In the further development of the hospital alarm plan and crisis management, You work together with the staff unit on civil protection. You contribute to the BCM and crisis management training and awareness-raising activities and support the creation of content for e-learning and presence training on these topics You work closely with information security management, quality management, crisis management, disaster management, IT, medical technology and administrative and clinical areas.

Complete studies in the field (economic) informatics, health or hospital management or related fields Multiannual professional experience in the field of continuity management or comparable positions as management system officers – ideally in the hospital or KRITIS environment Knowledge gained in carrying out risk and business impact analyses Knowledge of relevant standards and standards in the field of Business Continuity Management (in particular BSI Standard 200-4) Ideally experience in carrying out risk and business impact analyses as well as exercises and tests Knowledge of hospital alarm and deployment planning, crisis and emergency management Impressed communication skills and experience in cross-disciplinary cooperation Industry-specific knowledge of processes and processes in the hospital environment Flowing German knowledge (at least level C2) BCM or emergency management certifications are advantageous
