Number: MER0003XI5 The area Purchasing Thermal Systems is responsible for the module purchase and supplier quality management of components in the interior of all Mercedes-Benz cars and VAN series. In the module purchase and in particular in the purchasing team, we analyze the dynamic changes in the market and revise the purchasing and supplier strategy for our components. We assign development and series orders, conduct negotiations and secure the delivery and quality of the components. In the case of innovations and new developments, we are also present from the outset as well as in the design, which is of great importance for the brand and the interior of our vehicles. These challenges include: Participation in purchasing in enquiries, negotiations and offers evaluations as well as the award documentation Preparation and participation in negotiations, strategy discussions and relevant bodies Permanent exchange with the adjacent internal areas (development, logistics, quality and cost planning) and our suppliers Detailed insight into the work of the purchasing organisation of an internationally represented group and a commercial and technical overview of different material groups The activity can begin from March 2026.
