Head of HR Payroll (m/f/d)

As a payroll lead (w/m/d), you take over the management of our central payroll hub and not only secure a precise and timely payroll billing, but actively promotes the standardization, digitization and further development of our payroll processes. At the same time, you enter your own location operatively in the billing and accompany HR as managers as a trusted advisor:in. In this role you shape Payroll sustainable, efficient and forward-looking. Your mission: Leadership, development and coaching of the central payroll hub team (currently 3 people) for the German Solid Board Works Own, timely execution of the fee billing for an assigned location including related activities, such as reporting and certification Advising payroll, HR and management teams on complex tax and social insurance issues Further development and harmonisation of payroll processes, standards and interfaces Optimization of payroll/time recording systems, automation, reporting and control mechanisms (IKS) Cooperation or management of projects such as system introductions, process migrations and digitalization initiatives Close cooperation with your colleagues from the HR teams and regular exchange with Finance

Your profile: Completed commercial training or studies in personnel, finance or administration Multiannual professional experience in payroll, ideally in a multi-site or lifting structure Very good knowledge of pay tax and social security law, profound labour law know-how is a plus Experience in leadership, professional management and further development of payroll teams Detectable experience in process harmonisation, standardization and change management Secure handling of HR and payroll systems as well as time management (e.g. SAP, Atoss, Integra) High analytical competence, quality orientation and pronounced communication strength in German and English Pragmatic Can-Do mentality & joy in working in a dynamic environment readiness for occasional travel to the supervised locations
