Buyer – Operational & Strategic Purchasing (m/f/d)

For an established and economically stable company in the area of Potsdam, we are looking for an experienced buyer (m/w/d) as part of the direct recruitment.

In this varied position you take over both operational and strategic shopping tasks. From the procurement of a wide range of goods and services through contract negotiations to the further development of supplier relations, you can expect a diverse area of responsibility and design flexibility.

Own processing of operational and strategic purchasing processes for a wide range of goods, technical products and construction and services Analysis of procurement markets, collection and evaluation of offers and implementation of price and contract negotiations Support and further development of existing supplier relationships and identification of new sources of procurement and optimization potentials Creation, testing and careful documentation of transactions relevant to purchases, contract documents and procurement decisions taking into account applicable requirements Ensure smooth ordering processes including delivery date monitoring, complaint processing, auditing and preparation of relevant evaluations

Complete industrial studies or professional training with appropriate professional experience Multiannual professional experience in operational and/or strategic purchasing, in project purchase or procurement and procurement management Experience in supplier management as well as strong negotiation skills, cost awareness and a quick understanding for different procurement requirements Very good written and oral expressability, careful documentation and the ability to work independently in different requirements and regulations Safe handling of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision); Knowledge of procurement law is advantageous
