Usability Compliance Specialist in Medical Technology (m/f/d)

As part of an interdisciplinary project team, you work closely with risk management, product management and design to develop practical and reliable product solutions for the hospital infrastructure. Your work results include identifying potential application errors and their causes, as well as evaluating design approaches using task analysis, usability tests and other usability methods. You document all usability activities in accordance with applicable internal and external standards (including IEC 62366-1, FDA Guidance, NMPA) and thus ensure complete proof of safety and effective use of our products. Consultation and targeted reviews ensure that the required quality is maintained and that usability requirements are implemented efficiently to our products. In particular, in the lifecycle of our existing products, you will find pragmatic, efficient solutions such as required usability proofs can be provided and can also implement them in the form of structured and comprehensible documentation.

You have completed a degree in engineering, psychology, human factors, medical technology or a comparable subject. You have professional experience in developing medical devices as part of a user-centric development process. Ideally, you could already gain experience in performing and evaluating usability tests and other UX design methods. You are familiar with integrated quality management systems and are delighted to implement this in practice in daily work and in particular in documentation. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the field of usability (e.g. IEC62366-1 and FDA Guidance on Human Factors) complete your professional profile.
