Structural Inspection Engineer (m/f/d)

Testing of engineering structures DIN 1076 Preparation and implementation of the construction tests, including the associated organisation for personnel and equipment use, and the preparation of the test reports Coordination with third parties, e.g. for road safety and administrations Participation in the awarding and supervision of building tests by external engineering offices Development and elaboration of recommendations for action on building conservation Technical support of the external office in the assessment of buildings

Completed (special)higher education in the field of civil engineering or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience Vocational experience in construction engineering and the monitoring and testing of engineering structures, especially in bridge construction, would be desirable Technical knowledge of the award and processing of engineering services, including the fees for architects and engineers (HOAI), contract and contract regulations for construction services (VOB), additional technical contract conditions and guidelines for engineering buildings (ZTV‐ING) User knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and deeper knowledge of specialist software (e.g. building data [SIB]) VFIB certificate Building examination desirable Inspection certificate G 41 ('work with a risk of falling') or Suitability and readiness rail and construction site suitability and freedom of movement and willingness Willingness to work at night and at weekends for, for example, tests on railways Class B licence and readiness to operate a service vehicle
