At the Office for Digitization, Smart City and Information Technology – Information and Communication Department – we have the following new position (m/w/d) as soon as possible: Consultant/Referent IT Management The Information and Communication Department is an internal IT service provider for urban offices, bodies and schools. We maintain a professional and future-oriented IT and TK infrastructure with over 200 servers and more than 2,400 clients at 95 locations.

Key tasks are IT management, IT procurement and IT controlling Technical design and negotiation of contracts based on the EVB-IT model Planning, control and implementation of IT projects and procurement Advance the IT strategy for the 14 urban schools as well as communication to school lines etc. Developing principles, standards, concepts and instructions Deputy Head of Division Implementation of tenders to UVgO and VgV We reserve the right to adapt the task.

Completed studies for the up-to-date non-technical administration service (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/-in (FH) or Public Management (B.A.)) preferably with the deepening of information technology and management, completed study Digital Management (B.A.), Business Informatics (B.Sc.) or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in these tasks is advantageous Embossed IT confession with good knowledge in the areas of server, firewall, software, hardware, network technologies and IT security Good business knowledge, legal knowledge in IT, etc. Very good opinion and willingness to participate in further training Joy at work in the team An independent and structured approach and a high understanding Enforceability, customer orientation and self-initiative Self-employed and organised work and staff management skills Good communication skills in word and writing Ownership of a valid class B driving licence
