Your tasks...

• Capture and analyze customer requirements
• Detection, define and describe influencing variables and data structures
• derivation and describing the internal structure, control and logic for implementing the customer requirement
• advice on technological solutions and defining the range of services together with contractors
• Planning, coordination and implementation of updates & upgrades
• Create responsibilities
• Combining requirements from different fields and organisations
• Planning, design, development, testing and production of solutions to meet customer requirements within the solution areas to be supervised, taking into account existing dependencies on other applications within the solution areas to be supervised
• Implementation of the requirements
• Control of external service providers and monitoring/control for on-time delivery
• Creation of test plans, coordination and implementation of user tests together with key users
• Transfer of the created solution to customer acceptance
• Preparation and implementation of the software solution
• Create and maintain program documentation
• Early detection and transmission of irregularities in systems or interfaces
• Implementation of proactive measures to avoid disturbances
• Implementation of error/interruption
• Create & customize the user or Organizational Manuals
• Advising the department with regard to optimal use during operation
• Information and training of key users

Your profile...

• At least 5 years of professional experience as Application Consultant / Developer, ideally in a manufacturing company (e.g. machine/plant engineering)
• Complete vocational training in the field of information technology or comparable or higher qualifications
• Extensive know-how in applications or development environments
• Self-design/development of IT solutions taking account of economic and ergonomic aspects
• Very good analytical skills as well as independent, structured and solution-oriented working
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes and lean methods
• Secure communication in German and English at least. B2

Additional requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as Application Consultant, Application Engineer, Application Consultant, Software Consultant, IT Consultant, IT-Solutions Consultant, System Consultant, Business Consultant for Software Solutions, Application Consultant (m/w/d) or equivalent, preferably from a manufacturing company
• Training as a specialist in application development or studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, media informatics (m/w/d) or equivalent
• Knowledge in the programming languages JavaScript and C# as well as in interface management with ERP systems such as SAP is absolutely necessary
