In the research and development of Mercedes-Benz AG we design the automotive generations of the future. Here at the Sindelfingen site, the technical know-how of the brand is concentrated. Our team is responsible for on-board diagnostics (OBD) sizes in the software of electrified petrol engine projects (48V and plug-in hybrids). From the four-cylinder hybrid to the AMG Performance Hybrid, we coordinate the OBD development across the project. In future, we will also assist in securing and validating the on-board diagnostics of the battery-electric Mercedes-Benz vehicles. We offer you an extensive insight into the development of complex and exciting products, the process chain, the operation and organization in an international automotive group. To support our team in day-to-day business, we are looking for you as an intern for the co-design, development and review of our internal development tools that we implement with a development partner. These challenges come to you: You are responsible for the further development of our internal tools for evaluating measurement data (bug fixing, feature alignments) You actively bring ideas to the further development of functionalities and ease of use You enter the tool prompt tracking system for new, or changing functionality You check the correct implementation of tool requirements as part of quality assurance You are equal to the functioning of the tools with the data measured on the vehicle You actively participate in regular consultations with the development partner and tune the requirements You support in preparation for certification in tests, including coordination of test vehicles and fault components The internship can start from September 2025.
