This is how your training looks at us: This “Green Occupation” is suitable for fresh air fans, which are naturally connected, but necessarily have craftsmanship and technical talent. Work requires creativity, care and a sense for plants. As a gardener/gardener, you will design and care for the urban parks and gardens, the roadside green as well as playgrounds and sports fields. Tasks that require strength, such as pavement of paths and places or the execution of earthwork, are also part of this profession.

You complete the three-year practical training in the Stadtdienst division (Bauhof) of municipal works Wages.

The theoretical training takes place at the Wilhelm-Normann-Berufskolleg in Herford (block lessons), as well as in over-company courses (e.g. DEULA, Warendorf and Educational centre Garten, Münster-Wolbeck).

Your personal requirements: Main or Real School Degrees (Administrative School) at least satisfactory school grades in mathematics and biology physical fitness Joy in work outdoors Interest in nature & in handling plants handcrafted / gardening skill
