We, the Evangelical youth aid Godesheim gGmbH, are a great supporter of child and youth aid based in Bonn. Our spectrum ranges from stationary assistance to education in the context of medium and long-term accommodation of children and young people in housing groups, target group-oriented offers for parents with children, to a differentiated inobservation and clearing system for the city of Bonn and other municipalities, and is professionally implemented by around 40 teams and over 300 employees at different locations.

The focus of the Lindgren House is on the protection and care of younger children. Infant children and infants who need protection and special promotion due to hazards, development delays or early childhood traumatisation are protected here. In addition, the Lindgren House offers the possibility of “accompanied care” in which children and mothers are not separated, but are accompanied together in the phase of crisis intervention and perspective clarification. The support takes place “around the clock” in a 3-shift system.

We are looking for an educational specialist (m/w/d)

for the Lindgren house (Inobservation for children from 0 to 6 years in Bonn-Beuel)

• in full or part-time from 20 hours per week

Teacherin, social workerin, social educationin, psychologistin, educational scholarin, medical educationin, curative education caregiverin or professionals with similar state recognition/diploma You create a stable environment in the team and provide children with reliable care, binding relationships, orientation and security You structure and accompany the everyday life of the children and mothers In line with the individual life situation, you accompany the path of mothers with their children into a life as self-determined as possible Cooperation with other institutions (judicial offices, doctoral practices, clinics, etc.) Accompanying appointments, work with guardians Reporting and Documentation, Regular Team Meeting and Fallsupervisions

You are a recognized educational specialist, e.g. educators, Dipl. Teacherin, social workerin, social pedagoguein, psychologistin, educationalistin, medical teacherin or medical teacher*in You like work with toddlers, know their needs and have already worked with this age group (e.g. kita or crèche) You like to work in the team, are balanced and communicate clearly and value-adding You can show a professional attitude and still have not lost your humor and cordiality You appreciate that shift service can also provide personal time periods
