Measurement technician (m/f/d)

BOOSTER Precision Components (Schwanewede) GmbH is an international manufacturer of mechanical precision parts based in the Brundorf Schwanewede Industrial Park. We specialize in cutting with the most modern manufacturing processes and are market leaders in the production of compressor wheels for the automotive industry. We continue to grow into new areas, new applications and new opportunities. We are looking for a motivated measurement engineer (m/w/d), who not only precisely measures our demanding production parts, but also independently creates and develops measurement programs.

The focus is on measuring technology for our new business: new precision components outside our compressor wheels – from the first prototype production to the series. You work closely with the engineering and also support the ongoing production of our aluminium and titanium compressor wheels. This essentially comprises: Designing the measurement technology for new products: Development of measurement strategies and test concepts for new component families Creation, optimization and maintenance of CNC measurement programs on ZEISS coordinate measuring devices with CALYPSO, also offline based on 3D CAD data Optical 3D measurement incl. nominal-actual comparison of free-form surfaces Measuring technical support for prototypes and new developments – from first production to evaluation Measuring technical releases in the series (setting and initial parts) as well as support for production in dimensional deviations Creation of dimensional reports for first sample tests (EMPB according to VDA Volume 2 / PPAP) Implementation of measurement system analyses (MSA, method 1–3) and skill studies Analysis and evaluation of measurement results and cooperation in the further development of components, manufacturing processes and measurement technology

Complete technical training, e.g. as a measuring technician, machining mechanic or industrial mechanic, ideally with further training to the technician or in the field of measuring technology/quality Found experience in the measurement programming with ZEISS CALYPSO Safe handling of technical drawings as well as shape and position tolerances (ISO GPS) Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Communication strength in particular in exchange with engineering, manufacturing and quality management Team skills and hands-on mentality
