The TUM Klinikum operates one of the largest IT landscapes for patient care in Germany. Currently, 8,500 employees provide patients from all over the world with the highest medical level. You are supported by the Information Technology division, which operates over 200 IT systems and a comprehensive technological infrastructure, which we are constantly expanding within the framework of our digitalization strategy. You lead the Research & Teaching department within the business unit and report to the UK Head of the TUM Clinic. Head of Department (m/w/d) – Research and Teaching

Department development: In close cooperation with the School of Medicine and Health of the TUM, you conduct and develop the department on the basis of current and future joint projects. Resources Control and Coordination: The resources interacting in the department, across departments and institutions are coordinated and targeted. Support and coordination of projects: You plan, support and coordinate responsible projects in research and teaching related to their digital implementation. Communication: You are an advocate for the School of Medicine and Health and researchers within the TUM Clinic for IT-related topics. You coordinate the coordination in the IT field between TUM and TUM Klinikum. Structures and team development: Together with the partners from research and teaching, You build IT structures to support research and teaching as well as a related team and develop it further.

You have a successfully completed technical master's degree in the field of computer science, economic engineering, electrical engineering, business management or comparable You can demonstrate professional experience in the management of teams and ideally have first professional experience as department or department manager You have already gained IT experience in the fields of science, research or teaching You have already worked in the scientific environment and have informed IT skills You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (min.
