As a local transport manager, you are in the middle of the freight forwarding and actively contribute to success with a smooth organization of the delivery and pick-ups in local traffic by your team. • You take over the specialist management of the local transport disposition, including control of the workflow and coordination of holiday planning

• You support your team in the planning and disposition of local transport

• You control and tax carriers/drivers

• You can also support in the roll map creation/handling

• In communication with the storage staff, you organize the loading of interchangeable bridges/mounters

• You organize special trips and take their price arrangement

• You can provide training as a merchant (m/w/d) for forwarding and logistics services or a comparable commercial qualification

• Ideally, you'll bring well-founded experience in the (navigating) disposition of a stockpedition, experience in the forwarding environment is assumed

• You should have already gained first leadership experience to bring a sense of motivation and development of a team

• Since your employees work in alternating layers (breakfast from 8:00 p.m. and night shift from 02:00 p.m.), you can also arrange your working hours

• Your team can rely on you – you are reliable, show commitment and always keeps a cool head

• The daily work with key figures is of course for you, so you get a good understanding of costs and numbers

• Good knowledge of English and a pronounced hands-on mentality complete your profile
