They improve production facilities, optimize heating systems as well as tool holders and contribute to the more efficient design of manual assembly processes. They increase the efficiency of production processes, document workflows and support the smooth transfer to series production. They develop and implement automated solutions for parts handling along the process chain. They work on the introduction of automated systems for fault detection and process monitoring. They create and maintain process documentation, work instructions and training documents and ensure their continuous updating. They work closely with the teams of research & development, technology, production and quality assurance and cooperate with external partners from science and industry.

They have completed engineering studies, preferably in the fields of mechanical engineering, automation technology, manufacturing technology or a comparable field of expertise. They have practical knowledge in the automation of production processes, ideally from an industrial company. They work analytically and structuredly, bring about a pronounced problem-solving capability and are characterised by self-initiative and self-organisation. They have very good German knowledge in word and writing and can convey complex facts clearly and precisely.
