This makes the job interesting for me: As Application Manager (w/m/d), I can work on applications that are essential for a successful energy transition. As a 50Hertz, we are not alone, but can only cope with the challenges of transformation together with other German and European transmission system operators. This requires modern tools, as well as applications to see the assets in the network area and to enable the network operation of the future. At the interface between IT and specialist department, I act as a macherin and carerin, have an open ear for the requirements of the colleagues and set their own impulses in the further development. In doing so, I bring together all the IT systems into a functioning solution. My tasks and responsibilities at a glance: Operation: IT service and security management (according to ITIL); ensuring high operational safety; documentation; Control of service providers Projects: Management and coordination of IT projects; Integration, management and control of stakeholders (internal customers, external partners, development teams) Transversal tasks: consulting departments and active requirements management; quality management; cross-border cooperation with other IT teams; Participation in (international) bodies 50Hertz operates critical infrastructure and the corresponding applications must therefore be highly available. Therefore, I am willing to participate in IT readiness (remote). This includes about 2 weeks a year, in which I can reach ad hoc problems and coordinate solutions.

completed study of computer science, business informatics or another comparable IT-related subject, Multiannual stressful experiences in the care of applications (planning, operation and development), IT project management and IT service management (e.g. ITIL), experience in developing complex platforms (application servers, databases, middleware, message quues) – ideally in distributed environments, experience in IT provider control, IT monitoring and IT operation management, Secure handling of MS Office (and MS Project), Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (C1). No need, but of advantage: Experiences in network infrastructures and network standards make my application interesting, Energy economic/s experiences and/or know-how in the KRITIS environment, General basic knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes is desirable.
