Clinical acute and emergency medicine specialist (m/w/d) 

The body shall be placed for a period of 2.5 years within the framework of additional training.

In the Department of Clinical acute and emergency medicine, around 48,000 patients are currently medically supplied for emergency medical care. The department consists of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Center (INZ) and the Neuro Emergency Center (NNZ) with its adjacent emergency reception stations INA (12 beds) and NINA (7 beds). In a total of 5 state-of-the-art shock rooms, 14 treatment sites and 2 holding areas with 5 surveillance sites, all acute and emergency patients are treated in an interdisciplinary manner with a high proportion of critically ill persons/ injured.

The emergency centres are an integral part of the supra-regional trauma center, including the most severely injured care, the age trauma center, the Cardiac Arrest Center, and have a core function in the neurovascular network in the acute therapy of stroke patients.

Your tasks:

  • Responsive, interesting and varied clinical and organizational activity with care of all emergency patients at a clinic of maximum care in an interdisciplinary setting
  • Shock room management
  • Individual medical patient treatment
  • Contact person for rescue service
  • Document management and organisation of emergency reception stations
  • Close cooperation in the ongoing development of process processes

Your profile:

  • specialist recognition in an area of immediate patient care, including at least six months of intensive medical experience, which could also be completed during further training.
