You are driving the transformation to Agentic Engineering in the chapter, bringing new AI-based approaches into the squads and shaping the technological development together with Tribe Lead, IT Area Lead and other Chapter Leads. You guide the chapter members in discipline and control them professionally and technically, coach them in their development and support the IT Area Lead in leadership tasks in the Tribe. As Chapter Lead Software Development, you develop standards, guidelines and the chapter identity for the application development and operation of our sales and front office systems. You work in the squad yourself, initiate the introduction and further development of tools and ensure that modern engineering approaches are used sustainably in practice. You evaluate technological developments in AI-based software development, evaluate new technologies and translate relevant innovations into concrete solutions and engineering practices. Together with those responsible, you will ensure the appropriate skills and capacities in the Tribe and create the conditions for continuous professional and technological development of the team.

Education: You have a degree in computer science, economic informatics, software engineering or a comparable course of study or a comparable technical training. Professional experience: You have several years of experience in software development and ideally in a professional or disciplinary leadership role. You know Java, Spring Boot, AWS or OpenShift, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools like GitLab, ArgoCD, Tekton or GitHub Actions and have experiences with AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code. Management competence: You give orientation, make goals clear, listen empathically and create confidence and motivation in the team.
