The team „Architektur Thermischer Comfort und Luft Qualitäts“ at Mercedes-Benz Cars is part of the department for thermal comfort and air quality. The main task of the team is to develop concepts and architectures. This includes the air path within the vehicle cabin as well as the heating and cooling circuit including heat pump and its simulation. In addition, the team is responsible for measuring technology for prototypes, benchmarking, on-board diagnostics and innovation control. These challenges include: Supporting a dedicated team with a focus on measuring tasks

Development of methods for detecting thermic comfort on the vehicle (Thermodummy Dressman)

Preparation of measuring technology volumes in coordination with the departments

Support of the team in data evaluation and analysis

Participation in general development

Preparation and implementation of vehicle measurements in the climate wind tunnel

Insights into practical vehicle development

Knowing vehicle communication systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)

Introduction to industry-specific software for data acquisition, analysis and vehicle diagnosis)

The activity can begin from February 2026.

Current bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field
