Become part of our team and as Export & Customs Specialist, ensure a legally compliant, efficient and timely processing of our national and international import and export processes:

You are responsible for the operational import and export processing – from importation and customs to the processing of complex customs operations. Create and check all required customs and shipping documents as well as import and export invoices You carry out customs duties, determinations of origin and preferential calculations, produce proofs of origin, long-term supplier declarations and intrastat declarations and ensure reliable maintenance of customs and material master files You shall ensure compliance with all relevant customs, foreign and export control requirements. This includes, in particular, dual-use and penalty list checks and the control and, where appropriate, correction of tax rulings. For critical exports, take a stop function and agree with export responsibility You organise special customs procedures and are central contact persons for customs authorities, forwardings, customers and suppliers. Intern work closely with the areas of logistics, customer experience, purchasing, R&D and finance As a key user for our ERP and export software, you continuously develop our customs and export processes and drive their digitalization and automation forward. In addition, you participate in cross-sector projects or take over their management, for example in the areas CBAM, EUDR, US customs and material declarations You document customs-relevant processes and communicate your expertise in the course of training to the participating internal departments

You have completed commercial training, for example in foreign trade, in forwarding or in an industrial company, as well as training in customs, foreign trade or export control You bring several years of professional experience in import and export processing and customs You have well-founded knowledge of ATLAS, Intrastat, Incoterms, Customs and External Economic Law, preferential law and export control When handling ERP systems, you are safe. Ideally, you have already worked with Epicor and Descartes or a comparable foreign trade system. You have very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing You convince by a structured, careful and self-responsible way of working and a pronounced organizational capacity Communication strength, team capability and safe occurrence against internal and external opponents complete your profile
