completed university degree (Diplom, Diploma FH, Bachelor, Master) in one of the following courses: City/Landscape/Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Geography, or in a comparable degree course Experience in leadership of teams ideally multi-year professional experience in municipal climate protection, climate adaptation or sustainability Experience in project management and strategic planning, in particular in the development and implementation of concepts and action programmes ideally knowledge of the relevant legal framework and funding programmes at EU, federal and national level strong sense of responsibility good self-organization and an independent, targeted and constructive way of working friendly, confident appearance pronounced moderation and communication skills Enforcement, negotiation skills and team and cooperation capability Identification with international climate targets Ready for business trips and evening appointments
