For over 100 years, the DJH Baden-Württemberg has been representing values that enrich life. As a non-profit association we operate 47 youth hostels in the most beautiful places in Baden-Württemberg. The Culture Youth Hostel Karlsruhe has 170 beds in 42 rooms and the Youth Hostel Burg Rabeneck is equipped with 96 beds in 27 rooms. Since 2016, both houses have been run with a team of 18 employees in Karlsruhe and 10 employees in Pforzheim. We create encounters and unforgettable experiences for school classes, families, conference groups and individual guests. Check-in/check-out of our guests and guest care throughout the stay Contract agreements with guests/groups General reception tasks such as correspondence, accounting, cash management and conclusion, processing of bookings and reservations on the current booking platforms, telephone service Advising and completing memberships Retail sale Support in housekeeping and meeting services

You ideally have completed vocational training in the hotel industry or in the tourism sector and already have several years of professional experience - like cross-comers. You are the perfect host and have a structured, targeted and solution-oriented way of working. Team skills and social competence characterize you. Good IT skills, especially in the area of hotel reservation systems (ideally ASSD), as well as experience in dealing with MS Office are in your luggage. You have certain knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Further language skills are advantageous.
