Position number: V000070601 What tasks do you expect? As a Masterand (m/w/d), an exciting research field in the field of In-Car XR technologies awaits you. You will explore the current state of the art and conduct a structured literature research. As part of your Master's thesis, you can focus on one of the following topics: Examination of text input by AR/VR in the car for dynamic environments Investigation of approaches to reducing travel disease when using AR/VR in the car during the journey Improving the precision and reduction of AR/VR interaction error rate in the car by deep learning Regardless of the selected topic, your task is to design interactive XR concepts in Unity (C#), prototypical implementation and iterative enhancement – from the first feasibility study to the finished, study-ready build. You plan and conduct user studies in real in-car passenger scenarios, including study design, metrics and analysis. Through the documentation of your methods and results in your master's thesis and support in preparing a scientific publication, you contribute to making your research accessible to a wide audience. Depending on the selected focus, you can examine and develop innovative approaches to reducing Motion Sickness in In-Car AR/VR applications in moving vehicles or by using deep learning methods to optimize the precision of In-Car AR/VR interactions, reduce the error rate and make a significant contribution to improving user experience.
