Engineering Development and Certification (m/f/d)

Analysis and assessment of regulatory requirements and relevant standardisation activities with regard to their impact on NORD Identification of action needs and derivation of appropriate technical and organisational measures Initiation, control and support of basic, technology and roadmap projects Coordination of normative and regulatory issues across various departments and subsidiaries Support in the strategic development of technical standards and compliance requirements Function as a central interface to external institutions, authorities, certification bodies and standardisation bodies Ensuring transparent communication of regulatory changes within the organisation Cooperation in implementing and evaluating technical requirements in the context of development and certification processes

Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable subject Multiannual experience in electrical machines and in development, certification or certification processes Good knowledge of national and international standards, guidelines and regulations, e.g. ATEX, CCC, CE, CSA, Functional Safety, Machine Regulation, Low Voltage Directive, NEMA, VDE, VIK, UL Experience in dealing with regulatory requirements and technical compliance issues Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Structured, analytical and independent working methods Safe occurrence in exchange with internal departments as well as external bodies, authorities and certification organisations Teamability and a high technical understanding of complex relationships
