The Central Institute for Mental Health stands for internationally outstanding research and groundbreaking treatment concepts in psychiatry and psychotherapy, child and youth psychiatry, psychosomatics and addiction medicine.

The new organizational unit Mental Health for Organisations (MHfO) aims to support companies and organisations in the construction and strengthening of mental health. For our customers, we offer courses, workshops and consultations that work on both individual and organizational levels.

The MHFA first-aid courses are a central performance of our offer. MHFA First aider is an established and growing project at the Central Institute of Mental Health, where interested lay people are trained as first aiders for mental health. Since 2019, it has been making an important contribution in Germany to improving knowledge about mental disorders in society as well as to destigmatization and early detection of mental health problems. Implementation of MHFA first aid courses for companies and non-profit organisations – both in presence and online – in German and English Implementation of nationwide presence training with corresponding travel activities within Germany Independent organizational planning and preparation of courses in close cooperation with the company customer team Search for specialist questions by course participants Continuous deepening and further development of the course contents Perspective acquisition of additional MHFA course formats as well as additional training and workshop offers Active participation of an open team exchange and joint further development

Successfully completed psychology studies with focus on clinical psychology or medical training in psychiatry and psychotherapy or Psychosomatics and Psychotherapeutic Medicine or training as a nurse in the field of psychiatry/psychosomatics or comparable qualification First practical experience in the professional support of people with mental illnesses Experience in performing lectures, workshops, group or course formats Ability to create an appreciative and trusting learning atmosphere and to moderate group dynamics Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Ideally experience in cooperation with companies and/or non-profit organizations Secure handling of MS Office as well as popular video conferencing tools such as zoom and Microsoft teams Embossed communication skills, safe occurrence and team spirit and organizational talent High self-initiative and joy in flexible, independent work readiness to travel regularly
