For the SCHOTT Technical Glass Solutions GmbH, Workshop Floatglass Production at the Jena site, we are looking for an industrial mechanic (m/w/d)* at the next possible time. Your duties

• Execution of planned inspection/maintenance and repair work
• Implementation of unplanned repair work on various types of equipment and installations including Functional examination after completion of activity
• Conducting welding work (autogen, electric, and protective gas welding)
• Manufacture of complex auxiliary devices and spare parts by manual or machine processing
• Prepare drawings or sketches Your profile
• Successfully completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or similar training
• Multiannual professional experience in the maintenance and repair of production machines
• Welder test certificate (e.g. electric, WIG, MIG / MAG)
