In the Department of Internal Medicine II, which has a total of 80 beds, patients with diseases from the entire spectrum of internal medicine are treated, but in particular with diseases from the subareas of gastroenterology, nephrology and diabetics. The core of gastroenterology is the modern endoscopy department. In addition to the standard examination methods available today, a wide range of interventional endoscopic techniques are offered. The clinic maintains intensive cooperation with the clinics for radiotherapy as well as general, vascular and thorax surgery, in particular with regard to the existing intestinal and pancreas center. In addition, with regard to our general-internalistic care tasks, our special care applies to the patients at the higher age of life.
