Your tasks

Assessment of export projects taking into account applicable legislation

Export-relevant classification and classification of goods (goods, software and technology) using technical parameters and according to legal requirements (good lists)

Support for the translation of customs and external economic requirements into the business context and the external economic IT system landscape

Definition of technical requirements for systemic implementation in SAP GTS as well as technical support for the processes in SAP GTS

Auditing of counterparties against penalty lists

Application/administration of export permits to the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA)

Monitoring and consulting of projects related to export control aspects

Design and support of processes and process documentation to ensure compliance under export control

Initiation and implementation of training measures

Your qualifications

Complete study of law with focus on external economic law / economic law / Dipl. Financial Controller (FH) Customs or comparable, alternative training in a relevant area

Knowledge of German, EU and US export control law

Knowledge of classification and classification

Practice-proven analytical capability and structured targeted approach

At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in foreign trade advice or in a comparable industrial function

Good expertise in MS Office applications as well as user knowledge in SAP GTS and SAP ERP systems

English language skills
