What your dual study includes You connect technology and economy in energy supply: You get to know electrotechnical foundations and understand business relationships in a transmission network. In doing so, you work with technical facilities, economic processes and the efficient management of infrastructure projects You build a sound technical know-how: During your studies, you will learn everything about electrical engineering, digital technology and control technology as well as pioneering topics such as renewable energies, electrical energy storage, e-mobility, the “Internet of Things” and the practical use of AI. So you are perfectly prepared for the requirements of the energy world of tomorrow You get to know the economic aspects of a company: In addition to technology, you will also work with topics such as project management, financing, controlling and other business issues and learn to link them to technical requirements. You actively shape the energy transition: With your know-how, you help to drive the expansion and optimization of our high-voltage network economically and technically efficiently, from planning to implementation You will gain insights into technical and commercial areas: You work in technical departments such as network management, maintenance or technology & projects as well as in economic areas such as controlling, purchasing or project management You benefit from optimal study conditions: You are part of a small study group (approximately 30 people) and have direct contact with your lecturers, which ensures a personal and intensive learning atmosphere You optimally combine theory and practice: You will complete your theoretical phases at DHBW Stuttgart in the course of studies of industrial engineering – electrical engineering. During the practical stages, you will run various business areas and get to know the working day of a transmission system operator You get your degree with practical reference: In the last year of your studies, you write your Bachelor's thesis in the company and complete your studies with the Bachelor of Engineering (B.
