The Site Development Unit represents the interests of the regional economy in the areas of regional and urban development, transport, infrastructure and tourism. It informs about economic developments and legal frameworks and supports companies in implementing projects in these areas. Through the analysis of relevant location conditions, the unit contributes to ensuring the competitiveness of the region. At the next time we are looking for a full-time speaker Infrastructure and Transport (m/w/d).

They advise and support our member companies in all transport and infrastructure policy, as well as transport law issues. They initiate and maintain contacts with decision-makers, authorities and associations, actively participate in networks and initiatives relevant to traffic and mobility and integrate them into the IHK's services. They analyse and evaluate transport projects, infrastructure projects and legal templates in terms of their economic impact, ensuring efficient transport infrastructure (road, rail, inland waterway) and conducting recommendations for action. They contribute to the representation of interests and develop opinions on transport and infrastructure policy projects at local, regional and federal level and develop views or views. Proposals for a future-oriented infrastructure and transport policy. They plan events based on current information needs and act as a speaker for internal and external events based on their own presentations. They analyze current trends in the field of mobility, logistics and infrastructure, prepare specialist topics and create editorial contributions for various information media.

They have a completed university or university degree or a comparable qualification with the orientation of transport sciences, transport planning, spatial planning or professional training for the transport industry with the farmer or another suitable subject area. They have experience in the field of transport, infrastructure or mobility, ideally in an organisational or administrative activity and knowledge of the relevant legal and political framework in the fields. They are interested in economic relations and the promotion of the regional economy. They are characterized by analytical thinking, an independent and reliable way of working, team capacity and sovereign and serious appearance. They have a high degree of customer orientation and are happy to work cooperatively and interdisciplinaryly. They have a very good expressiveness in word and writing and enjoy dialogue with companies and external partners. They are owned by a passenger car license and show willingness to regional and supra-regional service trips.
