In the area of corporate risk management & services, we are driving innovations, methods, processes and digitization to ensure adequate control of the risks analysed. We are responsible for corporate risk management and monitoring for the DZ BANK Group with its various companies and business models and continuously develop the IT system landscape. Our four divisions Group Risk, Credit Principle, Reporting and CRO (Chief Risk Offices) Services & IT deal with the risk management of the DZ BANK Group in all its facets, control and compliance with Group-wide credit requirements, risk reporting including the ongoing assessment of economic, political and regulatory developments, the development and implementation of the Chief Risk Office's IT strategy and sustainability aspects and CO2 emissions portfolio. We work in a very dynamic environment that regularly changes as a result of geopolitical challenges, new requirements of oversight or macroeconomic developments as well as new technological developments, such as the use of artificial intelligence. Responsible action shapes our dealings with risks and the different fields of action in the context of sustainable lending and the assessment of risks related to ESG factors. In your 12-month trainee program with an individual schedule, you will be active in the various units of the Group Risk Control & Services division of DZ BANK. You also have the possibility to hospitate in various interface units outside the Group Risk Control & Services division. The location of your activities is Frankfurt.

You have a successfully completed master's degree in full-time (summary 2.5 or better), preferably in the fields of economics or natural sciences. Your Master's degree will be short at the time of your application or will not be longer than 12 months. You have collected first practical experiences in financial questions that are valuable to you from the outset. With your structured and detailed approach, you can develop solutions independently and contribute to our goal of making methods, processes and architectures more sustainable. You have a high level of willingness to learn and curiosity, so you're burning our multi-layered risk topics during your trainee program to get to know and quickly get involved. With your persuasiveness and Eloquenz, you get your ideas to the point that you can easily inspire your team members. You are strong in German (min. C1 level), in writing as oral as our business language is German.

Perspective: You start with an unlimited contract and a salary of EUR 71,000 during and EUR 77,000 according to the trainee program.
