You will be responsible for maintaining and further expanding existing customer relationships (OEMs, operators, integrators, authorities, etc.). Handling returning customers wants to be part of your duties. Assisting with tenders and preparing quotations, as well as balancing contracts, will be key tasks. Your tasks will include preparing market and competition analyses and developing strategic sales approaches. You will keep an eye on the railway sector and identify future potential in terms of new technologies, new services, and state-of-the-art technical solutions. In your role, you will utilize and analyze Salesforce to manage opportunities while fostering strong customer relationships and identifying potential.
Completed university degree (e.g. engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, transport engineering or comparable) Minimum 5 years of experience in the sales of technical services in the railway sector or, ideally, in rail TIC environment In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Rolling stock, European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS), Signaling, Functional Safety / ISA, Railway Infrastructure or Energy Supply Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems, with solid knowledge of pipeline and sales processes would be advantage Intrepreneurial thinking and structured approach to work Very good written and spoken German and English and willingness to travel
