At our location in Oberkochen, Aalen, we are looking for an for the department “Ground & Naval Mechatronic” at the next possible time Development Engineerin Mechanical Engineering Naval Solutions (w/m/d) The mechanical development area includes the disciplines mechanical and electromechanical construction, optics design, structural analysis and system engineering. From optical and electronic components, we develop optronic observation systems that reliably fulfill their performance data even under very difficult environmental conditions, such as strong vibration and at extreme temperatures. In cooperation with other development areas, integrated, electromechanically-stabilized education and observation systems for submarines and marine vehicles are created in the multispectral area.

Construction of complex opto-mechanical components and systems Creation of concepts taking into account functional, economic and temporal requirements deriving requirements for subordinate functional units and evaluating the implementation effort Selection and definition of materials and manufacturing processes Defining ready-to-use shape and position tolerances Conduct, evaluate and document strength calculations Creation of production-oriented drawings and specifications Determination of test requirements, design of prototypes and participation in engineering and qualification tests Support and support of external development partners, evaluation and optimisation of offers in terms of cost and performance Accompanying the production start and support of the series

Successfully completed studies of mechanical engineering, precision engineering, mechatronics or aerospace technology Multiannual professional experience as designer*in in mechanics development, ideally in military environment Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes Funded CAD knowledge, preferably in Creo Good SAP knowledge (document, material and piece list management) Experience with the V-model and agile development methods Experience in dealing with cooperation partners Solution-oriented operation Embossed communication skills and team orientation Flowing German and advanced English knowledge in word and writing
