Software Development Engineer (m/w/d)

For decades, as a leading system house for marine electronics, we have been supporting marines around the world to make the lake safer. We offer a wide range of services to our customers, including Sonars and Sensors, Guide Systems for submarines and overwater ships, mine defence systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and radio and communication systems.

As part of our development team for weapons, leadership, and deployment systems (combat management systems) in the field of threat analysis as a software developer. Your tasks include the development and maintenance of (resistance) software as well as the creation and execution of software units and components tests. You work with the creation of software specifications, design descriptions and test documentation. The implementation of integration and testing on the target system is also part of your task.

You have a degree in computer science or a comparable professional qualification with a technical background. You bring well-founded practical experience in application development and are used to use high-language problem-oriented (e.g. C++ / Java / Python). You have knowledge of the application of object-oriented programming, analysis, design and UML. Team skills and flexibility characterize you. You have the ability to creative, structured and independent work in the team combined with a high sense of responsibility. You are used to use your good knowledge of German and English in word and writing in everyday life. The joy of occasional national as well as international missions is yours.
