You are responsible for the operational and strategic procurement of raw materials and mechanical product groups and ensure the reliable supply of complex production processes To this end, you conduct the entire ordering process independently from the demand analysis to the order confirmation in our goods management system by You work closely with the areas of development, quality and production to translate technical requirements, specifications and changes early into procurement strategies and supplier decisions You analyze materials, processes and cost structures and derive optimization, substitution and dual-sourcing approaches You control and develop suppliers both technically and economically, support in audits and ensure quality and delivery performance sustainably You conduct price and contract negotiations on their own responsibility, use your scope for action for the economic and technically optimal design of procurement and prepare further decisions based on

Closed commercial training supplements with subject-related further training or studies in economic engineering, economics mechanical engineering Multiannual professional experience in operating and/or strategic purchasing in an industrial environment, ideally related to raw materials and/or mechanical product groups Practical, technical understanding of materials and manufacturing processes and their impact on quality, costs and delivery experience in dealing with suppliers and in preparation or Implementation of negotiations, including cost and market considerations High self-motivation with high sense of responsibility, communicative and team capable Knowledge of contract law Very good knowledge of the German and English language in word and writing Knowledge in MS Office and desirable knowledge in SAP Readiness to travel to a certain extent (national and international)
