Project Engineer Protection Technology (a*)

You develop principles as well as triggering and information systems for protection, regulation and synchronization devices in the 10-kV and 110-kV distribution network in Hamburg. The design and verification of protection settings as well as the calculation of the required setting values for protection, control and synchronization devices are also part of your responsibility. In the context of projects in substations and switchgear, you take over the work package responsibility, first select technical performance directories and check as well as revise technical plan documents. Together with the protective-technical field service, you analyze and evaluate malfunctions, assess the behaviour of protection, control and automation devices and support other areas of expertise in trouble clarification. In addition, you prepare internal training and carry out these independently.

A successfully completed study of electrical engineering, energy technology or a comparable discipline forms the basis of your profile. Professional experience in the field of protection technology as well as project experience in transmission or distribution networks of the energy supply you already bring. Your strong communication and organizational ability as well as your high implementation skills help you to advance projects in a targeted manner and to keep track of them in challenging situations.
