Your tasks:

• Technical and disciplinary management of the operational, international freight forwarding department at the Leipzig site
• Regional specialist management of international freight forwarding departments at Gera and Dresden locations
• Ensuring uniform structures and implementation of the corporate strategy in cooperation with the international management
• Development of international business as well as teams in the region, creation of synergies between locations
• Active distribution of services and negotiations with customers and suppliers
• Proactive analysis of processes and continuous improvement measures
• Ensure compliance with legally valid regulations and the introduction of professional expertise in project work

Your qualifications:

Matching qualifications

• Successfully completed studies or training in the field of logistics or comparable qualifications
• Multiannual experience in a leading position in the field of international forwarding
• Funded knowledge in the operational management of international transport and logistics services
• Experience in leadership of teams and regional responsibility across multiple locations
• German and good English skills (B2/C1)
• Knowledge of common transport management systems (e.g. SAP TM, CargoWise)
• Ability to process analysis and optimization using Lean Management methods
