IT Architect Mobility Management (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, we are concerned about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. IT Architect Mobility Management (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Berlin, Bonn, Meckenheim or Munich, as an alternative nationwide at one of our BWI locations. Within the Digital Workplace division, the Software & Mobility Management department is responsible for the technical new and further development of the services offered by BWI GmbH for software on the Windows Client, as well as for stationary and mobile workstation systems or Devices, associated communications services and backend infrastructures. The development team Mobility Management is in it for the service architecture of state-of-the-art solutions with high protection requirements incl. VS-NfD competent systems for mobile devices and backends.

Service design and architecture of mobile solutions, in particular for mobile devices to support logistics processes (e.g. from Honeywell or Zebra), as well as for XR (Extended Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) solutions, such as glasses/headsets

Accompanying Lifecycle activities of existing logistics solutions

Definition and development of XR/AR usage scenarios, incl. management of corresponding terminals

Supporting projects as a technical expert for mobile, scaling solutions

Planning, construction, expansion and lifecycle of the EMM infrastructure for XR/AR devices

Continuous improvement of services taking into account technological trends

Creation and updating of documentation

Technical advice of service management and customers

2nd level support with manufacturer communication for the responsible products

Successfully completed studies or training with IT reference

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the design of mobile enterprise solutions, preferably AR/XR solutions

Experience with properties and management of mobile devices from the manufacturers Honeywell and Zebra

detectable experience with MDM solutions such as VMWare Workspace ONE / Blackberry UEM and Android

Experience with Windows Server OS, Linux Server OS (RHEL) and Automation Tools (Powershell, Shell, Ansible) desirable

ITIL Foundation certification desirable

Teamability and customer orientation as well as self-initiative and independent working

Flowing German knowledge and good English knowledge in word and writing
