Conception, design and development of complex network architectures Planning and implementation of routing, switching and security infrastructures Architecture and operation of WLAN, WAN and LAN environments Analysis and optimization of existing network infrastructure (performance, scalability, security) Selection and evaluation of new network and security technologies Creation of technical documentation, standards and architectural specifications Network infrastructure monitoring Close cooperation with system administration, IT security and external service providers Solution of problems and disruptions in network infrastructure Coordination of external service providers

Successful completion of studies in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or the like – alternatively a comparable completed training Multiannual professional experience (at least 5 years) in the field of corporate network infrastructure, preferably with Cisco products Ideally, Cisco certifications or advanced training (CCNP Enterprise desirable) or comparable qualifications Good knowledge of switching and routing protocols firewall management knowledge, ideally with Check Point Maestro Analytical way of thinking, structured mode of operation and distinct documentation capability Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English
