Claim Manager part-time (20 hours/week) (m/f/d)

We from OXG Glas GmbH build and operate a fast and reliable fiber optic network for all over Germany. Over a period of six years, we will supply about seven million households in Germany with glass fibers. We invest up to seven billion euros in standardized broadband solutions and innovative FTTH expansion.

You take over the independent processing and control of damages to third parties, such as property owners. You check incoming damage reports, evaluate them legally and bring them into a structured form. You control communication with claimants, reviewers and opposing lawyers. You will ensure that internal release processes are adhered to and obtain the necessary approvals. You reliably induce and track damage payments, including possible benefits from OXG. You prepare regressions against general contractors and transfer them to the competent authorities. You will create regular reporting on damages, processing levels, cost developments and relevant KPIs. You work closely with Legal, Customer Service and Network Deployment. You build a transparent case documentation and keep it up to date. You actively shape the introduction and further development of an AI-assisted solution that automates parts of the damage case processing.

You have a completed training or study, for example as a lawyer or legal specialist, insurance businessman or business lawyer or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of experience in claim management, insurance or a legal environment. You ideally have knowledge of the damage processing, for example in liability law. You go to complex situations structured, solution-oriented and with a clear look for details. You communicate safely and confidently in writing, also in dealing with legal counterparties. You work independently, carefully and responsibly. You convince with a high service orientation and the necessary enforcement strength. I'm sure you're going around with MS Office. You have an affinity for digital tools and are open to the use of AI solutions; first experiences with process automation or data structuring are a plus.
