Lead Electrical Engineer – Tauber Energy (m/f/d)

We, the Tauber-Solar group, plan, build and operate, since approx. 25 years, photovoltaic systems, both for customers and for our own portfolio. Since 2022, we have also worked in the field of project development and implementation of large-scale storage projects from 10MW. Under the Tauber-Solar brand, we have both our service and asset management teams for the technical and commercial management of currently more than 350 PV and storage facilities from C&I to ''Utility Scale', as well as our EPC business with commercial and industrial customers (C&I) for roof and small open-air installations, as well as customer solutions in connection with PV such as storage bundles, charging or charging management.

With Tauber Energy, we are in the field of large open-air systems and large-scale storage from approx. 10MW active along the entire value chain, have already successfully implemented BESS projects and are currently working on the implementation of project portfolios in the three-digit MW range. Geographically, we are active in Germany, Spain and selected African countries and regularly examine engagements in other markets. Always looking for the next project and the next customer solution, we do not impose any technical or geographic restrictions.

Technical overall responsibility for the electrotechnical planning and implementation of large battery storage (BESS) and utility scale PV projects Design of power connection concepts, medium/high voltage systems and protection systems Structure and support of the SCADA architecture for monitoring, control and data evaluation Evaluation and selection of key technical components (batteries, inverters, transformers, switching systems, etc.) Leadership and development of an engineering team with 5–10 people Definition and quality assurance of technical performance within our EPC(EPCM) projects Support for technical tenders, awards and commissioning Close cooperation with internal interfaces such as project development, purchasing and operation Working in a motivated, growth-oriented environment with real design possibilities

Complete studies in electrical engineering, energy engineering or comparable At least 10 years of professional experience in implementing large-scale renewable energy projects – ideally with PV and BESS systems Knowledge of network integration, protection technology, SCADA systems and electrical plant planning Experience in managing technical teams and building efficient processes Basic understanding of programming (e.g. Python, MATLAB, C++) and first experience in the field of artificial intelligence, in particular in the definition of use cases and efficient prompting Structured, solution-oriented and independent mode of operation Very good German knowledge (min. C1), ideally native Good English knowledge of word and writing Residence in the Würzburg area or willingness to move
