Technician/Engineer as Project Engineer for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Technology in Shipbuilding (m/f/d)

From the first idea to the technical implementation, you support the refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology of demanding shipbuilding projects and develop tailor-made plant concepts for maritime use. With the creation of technical specifications and the design and calculation of supply systems, you create the basis for reliable approval and procurement processes. In the technical evaluation of supplier offers, you will keep in mind quality, costs and possible project risks and develop sound decision-making templates. As a central interface to customers and system suppliers, you coordinate technical requirements and ensure a smooth coordination of the various plants and plants. A special focus is on the testing of construction and supplier documents and the preparation and evaluation of schematic pipeline plans taking into account the construction specifications and classification regulations. The 3D design is also part of your responsibility: you create and test system models and ensure optimal integration of the refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems into the ship construction. Through close cooperation with the construction departments and the manufacturing, you contribute to the efficient and practical implementation of technical solutions.

Its technical basis is a completed further education on the subject of heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology, mechanical engineering or shipbuilding technology, or a completed engineering study in the field of supply engineering, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding and marine engineering or maritime technology. You bring several years of experience in the planning, design or construction of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems and are ideally familiar with their integration in shipbuilding. You are familiar with technical regulations and guidelines, and in particular knowledge of classification rules and SOLAS requirements are advantageous. In handling AutoCAD you are versed and ideally have additional experiences in the 3D CAD design of technical supply systems. Your technical understanding allows you to evaluate complex plant concepts, coordinate interfaces and develop economic solutions. Thanks to good knowledge of English, you can communicate safely with international customers, suppliers and project partners.
