Bus driver as a career changer (m/f/d)

Your qualification

We offer you the opportunity to qualify for the bus driver (w/m/d) in full time. The theoretical and practical training takes place in our own or an external driving school, so you can learn all the important things about busing. With a theoretical and practical examination, you complete your qualification after 3-4 months and are in possession of the license of class D. After successful completion of the training course, you will transport passengers with our modern buses in Rostock's inner-city scheduled traffic in accordance with the general conditions of transport.

Our driver's workstations are comfortable and ergonomic, but not barrier-free. The next training course starts on 04. May 2026.

This is how your schedule looks

• punctual and safe transport of your passengers
• Driving of modern standard and articulated buses in the inner-city line network taking into account general transport conditions
• Contact person for your passengers - by information on connections, lines and tariffs
• Ensure connection between vehicles through targeted communication
• Vehicle-specific expertise including all the peculiarities of your different vehicle types
• Recognize and report disturbances and vulnerabilities to your vehicle, as well as their targeted forwarding to your passengers
• takeover of assistance in the transport of persons with limited mobility
• An average 39 hours week with irregular service hours from Monday to Sunday and start of service as well as /-end at different locations in the Rostock city area
• Training and training events with your favorite colleagues

This makes you a bus driver (w/m/d)

• At least 24 years old
• For 2 years or longer, a valid EU licence in Class B and/or C
• Ready for use in shift services
• Unrestricted physical mobility and proven health suitability for passenger transport
• Good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least B2)
• Customer-oriented action, strong communication skills and a sovereign and solution-oriented approach to challenging situations
