The development is dynamic and transaction-driven in this area, in which credit risk management occurs in risk assessment based on complex information as a reliable savings ring partner. The financing focuses on transaction financing for medium-sized enterprises, often involving international financial investors. Credit Risk Management is responsible for risk early detection (individual risks, global trends) for the global credit portfolio, including (further) development of risk systems and tools. Berenberg's successful business strategy leads to a significant increase in the number and volume of credit transactions to be managed, in particular in the field of structured financing.

Own-responsible assessment of credit risks in business with companies, focusing on structured financing under private equity-initiated acquisition financing independent analysis of business, due diligence and annual accounts reports to assess the economic situation and market position of the company Questions and plausibility of assessing financial models, credit structures and the risk and market situation of companies Creation of decision templates and definition of internal ratings and responsibility for the correct execution of decision processes within the specified organisational framework conditions Continuous monitoring and analysis of the performance and credit risks of portfolio companies with the proactive approach to optimizing risks at any time within the framework of the credit risk strategy
