Our Financial Services division focuses on financial services and supports banks, insurance companies and asset managers to be successful in an ever-changing and fast-paced world. As part of one of the leading strategy and transaction consulting services, we support both international and national financial services companies as well as FinTechs/InsurTechs/Start-ups/Makler and customers in the private equity sector strategically, financially and operationally along the entire transaction process. Our team with a focus on insurance (Munich/Cologne) or banking (Frankfurt/Munich) supports both in the framework of strategy and M&A projects as well as in the implementation of different buyer and sales advisory services. You can do a variety of tasks: Participation in (inter) national transactions along the entire value chain including market, strategic, due diligence and post-Merger integration analyses Participation in market/enterprise analyses as part of strategy and transaction projects for financial services companies as well as customers:in FinTech/InsurTech/Start-up/Makler and Private Equity Support in the implementation of buy- and sell-side financial due diligence projects, in particular in the comprehensive analysis of companies and business models, such as the analysis of key value drivers and the asset and earnings situation Project management, preparation and management of virtual data spaces, support of expert sessions with management, and support in creating offers and pitch documents Support in the derivation/research of strategic options and basis of decision for the management of our customers, as well as the preparation of related reports and analyses related to the purchase price determination

This position shall be taken at the earliest from January 2026.

Studies (at least in the fourth semester) of economics or a comparable course of studies with suitable subjects such as Finance, M&A, Accounting, Controlling, Insurance and Banking Ideally, first practical experiences in the Financial Services environment and/or in the Strategy and Transactions/Corporate Finance area (e.g. as part of an internship or a work student activity) First knowledge of accounting according to HGB and according to international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS) desirable, knowledge of insurance-specific accounting regulations advantageous Analytical Skills and Precise Work, Teamplayer:in with commitment and high sense of responsibility as well as safe handling of MS Office Very good communication skills in German and English, other foreign language skills are advantageous
