We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer (m/w/d) for our location in Ergersheim, Nuremberg

With our innovative approach to replacing external mirrors of commercial vehicles, we were able to establish ourselves as world market leaders. To further develop these complex digital visual systems (DVS) and our platform cameras (MCP), we will look for you as soon as possible to support them.

Your tasks:

• Development of embedded software for camera and control units (ECUs) in the field of Camera Monitoring Systems (CMS)
• Analysis of system requirements and derivation of corresponding software requirements
• Creation of software designs in UML and implementation in C/C++
• Integration of software on automotive microcontrollers and SoCs with ISP functionality
• Use of AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, Embedded Linux or Safe RTOS depending on the platform
• Creation and execution of unit, integration and verification tests
• Active participation in Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434) measures
• Close coordination with internal departments, customers and international development partners
• Work according to automotive standards such as ASPICE and the V-model

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• More than 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development in the automotive sector
• Very good knowledge of C/C++, ideally also in Python for Testing/Automation
• Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), Embedded Linux, and RTOS (e.g. OSEK, ThreadX, QNX)
• Secure handling of microcontrollers, SoCs (e.g. TI Jacinto, Renesas R-Car), debuggers and compilers
• Knowledge of requirements tools such as Polarion and architectural modeling in Enterprise Architect
• Experience with safety and security requirements in safety-critical applications
• Team-oriented, structured and independent work
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
