To strengthen our team in Struthütten, we need support as

Welders (m/w/d) - Focus on pressure tank construction for black steels as well as rust-resistant and acid-resistant steels

Your tasks:

• X-ray-proof welding and assembly of small to medium material (printing) containers and general steel structures according to the technical drawing specifications.
• Control of welding processes MAG and WIG, mainly for steels: S235, 1.4301 and 1.4571, in sheet thicknesses from 2.00 to 8.00 mm.
• Preparing the components to be welded (cut preparation, measurement control, etc.)
• independent control of quality, with final documentation in the welding technology documents.

Your profile:

• A completed vocational training in the metal sector, preferably as a plant or construction mechanic (m/w/d) of the field of welding technology.
• Valid welding certificates in the above-mentioned welding methods should be available as much as possible or the willingness to acquire them.
• Multiannual relevant professional experience as a specialist in WIG/MAG welding and joining sheets/form parts (steel/stainless steel) should be present.
• Finded knowledge in the field of pressure tank construction would be advantageous.
• A fast, precise and independent way of working.
• Currently on permanent refractory layer, but willingness to shift work in alternating layer (FS/MS)
• High quality awareness and self-initiative
