RIA Cast House Engineering is an internationally active specialist for automated systems and special machines in the field of aluminium foundry technology. For over 30 years, we have been developing and implementing tailor-made solutions for aluminium foundries worldwide – with a clear focus on efficiency, process and work safety as well as robust, practical technology. We develop and manufacture our machines ourselves, install them with our customers and operate them together on site.

From the workshop to the world - Technical Coordinator Manufacturing & Montage

As a technical coordinator for manufacturing and assembly, you accompany our machines from pre-assembly in the workshop to successful installation at the customer. The focus of your activity is the preparation, execution and management of our assembly operations. Approximately 30–40 % of your activity takes place on construction sites – regularly abroad. On site you guide and monitor assembly work, coordinate your own employees and external assembly forces and ensure that our machines are built up professionally, securely and on time. You recognize technical and practical problems, evaluate the situation and make your own solution. If planning and construction site reality do not fit together, technical understanding, improvisation and a pragmatic hands-on mentality are required. Where it is necessary, you also pack yourself. Before use, you assemble materials, tools, auxiliary and lifting equipment and other equipment and organize the necessary resources and processes. You work closely with manufacturing, construction and project management. In our workshop you accompany production and pre-assembly and bring back experience from assembly to the company. In addition, you support the disassembly, packaging, loading and transport of our machines and the coordination of external service providers.

You have completed technical vocational training, preferably with a mechanical focus, for example as industrial, construction, plant, land and construction machinery mechatronics or in a comparable technical profession. A further education to the master or technician is advantageous, but not decisive. More important is practical experience with machines, mechanical assemblies and ideally their assembly. Experience in machine or plant engineering, in machine assembly or a comparable industrial environment is expressly desired. You can read and transfer technical drawings into practice, have a good mechanical understanding and are able to assess technical problems independently and develop practical solutions. At the same time, you can organize work and work properly and keep an overview even if not everything goes according to plan.

You're an intern and a problem solver. If something doesn't work, you don't wait for the next instructions, but make yourself an image, develop a solution and drive its implementation forward. You work independently, take responsibility and can also decide pragmatically under time pressure. In doing so, you combine improvisational talent with a structured way of working and healthy technical common sense. You can lead and coordinate technicians and external partners and at the same time you are not too bad to get involved. Regular readiness for travel and multi-day to multi-week assembly operations in Germany and abroad are expressly part of this position. We require knowledge of English for practical coordination with customers and assembly personnel.

RIA does not expect a classic office job, but a varied technical task between workshop, construction site and project environment. You work directly on our machines and, with increasing experience, take responsibility for the fact that from construction and manufacturing at the end a functioning system becomes with the customer. You benefit from short decision-making, personal scope and support for our design, project management and experienced colleagues. Your incorporation takes place step-by-step and practical: you first get to know our machines in production and pre-assembly and then grow into the preparation and management of your own assembly inserts. We offer you a long-term professional perspective, attractive remuneration, individual development opportunities and an unlimited employment in a stable, growing company. .
